Hedera, meanwhile, can process up to 10,000 transactions per second.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<p>The development comes after Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse projected at the XRP Ledger Apex 2025 event in Singapore that the XRP Ledger could capture 14% of SWIFT\u2019s global liquidity within 5 years, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.itiger.com\/news\/2542311025\" target=\"_blank\">stating<\/a>: <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cSWIFT today has two components\u2014messaging and liquidity. Liquidity is owned by banks. I think less about the messaging and more about liquidity. If you\u2019re driving all the liquidity, it\u2019s good for XRP. So, in five years, I\u2019d say 14%.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The reports coincide with another major development for Ripple.
