This integration brings the number of blockchains with the self-custody wallet\u2019s support to 11.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cExpanding MetaMask to support emerging networks like Sei is about solving real problems for users,\u201d said Gal Eldar, global product lead at MetaMask. \u201cWeb3 is moving toward a multi-chain reality, and users shouldn\u2019t have to wrestle with different wallets or complex bridges to participate. By bringing Sei into MetaMask, we\u2019re delivering a smoother and safer experience that we believe will help bring the next wave of users into Web3.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MetaMask to support native swaps and bridging<\/h2>\n<p>MetaMask has added a dedicated Sei page on its platform and users can access features such as Sei-based decentralized applications, games, tokens and non-fungible tokens. Users can also swap and bridge assets to Sei, or purchase SEI directly from within the MetaMask wallet.<\/p>\n<p>The integration comes as Sei\u2019s ecosystem records significant growth, including in decentralized finance. On-chain activity has exploded with daily transactions surging to over 4.2 million, while total value locked has surpassed $600 million. Meanwhile, Sei\u2019s monthly active users, or MAUs, has surged to 11 million. <\/p>\n<p>Per <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/chain\/sei\" target=\"_blank\">DeFiLlama<\/a>, Sei\u2019s stablecoin market cap has spiked more than 30% in the past seven days to over $265 million.<\/p>\n<p>MetaMask adding support for the L1 blockchain will unlock the platform\u2019s high-performance network infrastructure for more than 100 million users globally.
