{"id":3599,"date":"2025-06-20T19:30:01","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T19:30:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bitunikey.com\/news\/odds-of-sol-ltc-xrp-etf-approval-stand-at-95-analysts\/"},"modified":"2025-06-20T19:30:07","modified_gmt":"2025-06-20T19:30:07","slug":"odds-of-sol-ltc-xrp-etf-approval-stand-at-95-analysts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bitunikey.com\/news\/odds-of-sol-ltc-xrp-etf-approval-stand-at-95-analysts\/","title":{"rendered":"Odds of SOL, LTC, XRP ETF approval stand at 95%: analysts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"post-detail__content blocks\">\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\">The chances of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approving spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds for Solana, Litecoin and XRP in 2025 have increased to 95%, Bloomberg ETF analysts James Sayffart and Eric Balchunas say.<\/p>\n<p>Seyffart and Balchunas shared the new forecasts in an updated outlook <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JSeyff\/status\/1936117896347803748\" target=\"_blank\">posted<\/a> on X on June 20,2025.<\/p>\n<p>As well as the high odds for a SEC approval for Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC) and XRP (XRP), other crypto ETF filings also have high chances of approval in 2025. <\/p>\n<p>These include Dogecoin, Cardano, Avalanche, Hedera and Polkadot at 90% chances of approval in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Seyffart and Balchunas also assigned a 95% probability of approval within the next six months to crypto basket or index ETF filings by Grayscale, Hashdex, Bitwise, and Franklin Templeton. Notably, many of these applications are approaching their final SEC deadlines in early July.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEC\u2019s positive engagement key<\/h2>\n<p>Seyffart notes that their decision to raise the odds that the regulator gives a nod to most of the spot crypto ETF filings is down to \u201cengagement from the SEC.\u201d The ETF analysts see developments as \u201ca very positive sign.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NEW: <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EricBalchunas?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">@EricBalchunas<\/a> &amp; I are raising our odds for the vast majority of the spot crypto ETF filings to 90% or higher. They also pointed to Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated futures markets that already exist for many of these assets.<\/p>\n<p>As for timing, analysts say approvals could arrive within weeks or closer to final deadlines later this year. Most applications have their final SEC decision dates in October and November.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe timing of these approvals\/launches is more uncertain,\u201d Seyffart wrote on X. \u201cCould be something we\u2019re talking about in the next month or two.
