The system works using just a phone number, eliminating the need for IBANs, crypto wallets, or conversions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis isn\u2019t a feature \u2014 it\u2019s a financial infrastructure upgrade,\u201d said Yonathan Lapchik, CEO of SukuPay. \u201cWe\u2019re powering real-world payments that actually work for real people \u2014 banked or unbanked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inefficiencies addressed\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Remittances are a vital lifeline for Latin America, with Guatemala alone receiving over $21 billion annually.
