According to a press release cited by\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/markets\/crypto\/articles\/bny-mellon-launch-bitcoin-ethereum-080633939.html\">Yahoo<\/a>, the platform will initially support custody for Bitcoin and Ethereum, with expansion into stablecoins and tokenized real\u2011world assets planned once the service is live and regulatory approvals are secured.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is being delivered through a three\u2011way collaboration with Finstreet Limited and ADI Foundation. Finstreet, a digital market infrastructure group and Abu Dhabi\u2013based multilateral trading facility operator, and ADI Foundation, described as a \u201csovereign\u2011grade blockchain infrastructure organization,\u201d will provide the on\u2011the\u2011ground rails, while BNY supplies its global custody stack.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"from-594t-custody-scale-to-uaes-crypto-hub\">From $59.4T custody scale to UAE\u2019s crypto hub<\/h2>\n<p>BNY, which oversees $59.4 trillion in assets under custody and\/or administration and $2.1 trillion in assets under management as of March 31, 2026, is pitching the ADGM build\u2011out as a way to \u201clocalize and elevate\u201d institutional crypto custody in the region.
