We’re preparing the infrastructure to run this on scale,” Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said in a recent statement, describing the dedicated GetClaw accounts as a way to separate user-controlled assets from agent-driven activity while keeping execution transparent.

The exchange is also building around Gracy AI, a digital assistant modeled on Chen’s decision-making style that focuses on market cycles, strategy and risk framing rather than price calls, which Bitget says anchors its broader UEX roadmap.

In the second quarter of 2026, Bitget plans to host what it calls the world’s first AI trading hackathon, provide developers with technical resources, work with creators on practical AI trading tutorials, and open B-end cooperation for projects and tool vendors to integrate into its ecosystem, extending earlier hackathon efforts with partners such as Solana.

The push comes as Bitget reports robust growth in its core business, including an 86% year-on-year increase in Bitcoin reserves in February 2026 and triple-digit spot volume expansion in prior quarters, metrics the firm presents as proof it can fund and scale AI-heavy infrastructure under its Universal Exchange strategy.

In a previous crypto.news story, Bitget detailed how its GetAgent AI assistant bundled more than 50 trading tools, including market insights and social sentiment, to simplify decisions for a waitlist of 25,000 users at launch, while separate reports covered its AI-driven token analysis feature in Bitget Wallet and its earlier hackathon collaboration with Solana’s ecosystem.

According to crypto.news, Bitget has also tied its AI and infrastructure build-out to broader growth moves such as securing full licensing in El Salvador and slashing order-processing latency by up to 40% as it leans into its “universal exchange” pivot.

Bitget is expanding its AI “co-pilot” trading push into a full ecosystem spanning retail users, developers, and institutional partners.
