The cryptocurrency failed to gain momentum despite a rebound in stock markets and record prices for gold and silver.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><\/figure>\n<p>Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, fell during the trading period.
