On Friday, November 28, the supply of Ripple\u2019s RLUSD stablecoin surpassed $1.026 billion on the Ethereum blockchain, making it one of the fastest-growing stablecoins. <\/p>\n<p>The total supply of RLUSD, on both Ethereum (ETH) and XRPL, reached $1.261 billion at a time when demand for regulated stablecoins is growing. Notably, the stablecoin focused on compliance from day one, making it attractive for institutional investors. <\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">RLUSD secures regulatory approval in the UAE<\/h2>\n<p>RLUSD recently secured another major regulatory victory in the United Arab Emirates. Namely, on November 27, Abu Dhabi\u2019s Financial Services Regulatory Authority <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ripple.com\/ripple-press\/rlusd-recognized-as-accepted-fiat-referenced-token-for-use-within-abu-dhabis-adgm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">recognized<\/a> the stablecoin as an Accepted Fiat-Referenced Token. This recognition means that regulators approved its use within the Abu Dhabi Global Market, the UAE\u2019s financial center. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe FSRA\u2019s recognition of RLUSD as a Fiat-Referenced Token reinforces our commitment to regulatory compliance and trust \u2013 two non-negotiables when it comes to institutional finance,\u201d said Jack McDonald, Senior Vice President of Stablecoins at Ripple. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Regulatory approval in Abu Dhabi is part of Ripple\u2019s increasing efforts to expand in the Middle East and Africa. Recently, Ripple announced a strategic partnership with Bahrain Fintech Bay, the country\u2019s leading fintech incubator.
