In a separate report published earlier this month, AMINA highlighted a 233% surge in crypto trading volume across Hong Kong exchanges during the first half of 2025, compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHong Kong\u2019s crypto landscape in 2025 demonstrates institutional adoption at scale \u2014 marked by record institutional flows,\u201d the bank <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/aminagroup.com\/research\/hong-kong-leads-apac-digital-asset-adoption-in-2025\/?utm_campaign=121638098-Research%20Insights&amp;utm_content=472968406&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;hss_channel=tw-1024292924077629441\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">concluded<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To be able to secure a Type 1 license uplift, firms must demonstrate to the Securities and Futures Commission that they can meet the capital requirements, have proper risk management systems, and qualified Responsible Officers in place to oversee operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis milestone enables us to expand our crypto product shelf, including private fund management, structured products, derivatives, and tokenized real-world assets \u2014 all delivered through the regulated framework that our professional investor community demands,\u201d Benz added.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AMINA\u2019s expansion efforts\u00a0<\/h1>\n<p>AMINA has continued to expand its global footprint this year and secured a MiCA license under the European Union\u2019s new regulatory regime just a few weeks ago, during the first week of November.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Its newly formed Austrian subsidiary, AMINA (Austria) AG, was greenlighted by the country\u2019s Financial Market Authority to offer trading, custody, and portfolio management services to professional investors across the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past months, the bank has moved to enhance its institutional-focused offerings, including support for Ripple\u2019s RLUSD stablecoin, staking services for Polygon\u2019s POL token, and the removal of custody fees for USD Coin reward accounts.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Switzerland\u2019s AMINA Bank AG has received the regulatory clearance to offer crypto trading and custodial services to institutional clients across Hong Kong.
