Now the Aave v3.3 platform brings its institutional-grade compliance and hybrid finance to VBILL.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThis partnership brings together Securitize\u2019s high-quality tokenized assets, Chainlink\u2019s industry-leading NAV pricing data, and Aave\u2019s deep liquidity and battle-tested infrastructure within Horizon,\u201d said Stani Kulechov, founder of Aave Labs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">VBILL as collateral on Horizon<\/h2>\n<p>Horizon now supports VBILL as a collateral asset. The integration is powered by Chainlink (LINK) and will give qualified institutional investors the opportunity to borrow stablecoins against their VBILL holdings. This way, investors can turn their tokenized Treasury holdings into onchain collateral.<\/p>\n<p>At the core of this move is the desire to bring the benefits of decentralized finance to traditional finance, the firms said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cVBILL\u2019s integration into Aave Horizon represents a natural evolution for tokenized securities,\u201d said Kyle DaCruz, director of digital assets product at VanEck. \u201cInstitutional investors can now leverage the safety and transparency of tokenized Treasuries while accessing the efficiency and composability of DeFi; a powerful combination that signals how far the market has come.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The integration is another step toward the broader milestone of unlocking institutional DeFi.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past several months, multiple industry players have expanded tokenized assets on-chain, with the overall onchain RWA rising to over $35 billion.<\/p>\n<p>However, forecasts are that the sector will see a sharp spike in the next few years.
