The initiative is being developed in partnership with global investment bank BNY Mellon.<\/p>\n<p>Under the collaboration, BNY Mellon will act as custodian for the fund\u2019s underlying assets, ensuring institutional-grade safeguarding, while one of the bank\u2019s subsidiaries will handle portfolio management. Pending approval within the Sky Ecosystem, Grove\u2014a blockchain-based institutional credit protocol\u2014plans to anchor the fund with an initial $100 million allocation. <\/p>\n<p>According to Carlos Domingo, Securitize CEO, the initiative is a major stop in making high-quality floating-rate credit instruments more accessible and transparent through blockchain technology.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<p>The partnership follows Securitize\u2019s recent announcement of plans to go public through a merger with Cantor Equity Partners II, Inc., a special purpose acquisition company.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of this fund underscores the accelerating trend of tokenizing real-world financial products. Earlier this year, Ondo Finance introduced a tokenized U.S. Treasury fund on the XRP Ledger, allowing investors to hold and redeem government bond exposure via stablecoins.
