On Tuesday, October 21, on-chain asset manager Maple and decentralized lending protocol Aave partnered to bridge the gap between institutional capital and on-chain liquidity. <\/p>\n<p>Notably, Maple will bring yield-bearing assets to Aave, including its yield-bearing stablecoin syrupUSDT. According to the two companies, these \u201cinstitutional-grade\u201d assets will boost Aave\u2019s liquidity and bring in institutional capital. In addition, the partnership will also allow Aave to access Maple\u2019s network of borrowers.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThis partnership brings together Maple\u2019s high-quality institutional assets with Aave\u2019s deep liquidity and unmatched scale,\u201d said Stani Kulechov, Founder of Aave. \u201cInstitutions gain greater utility and deeper liquidity, enabling them to better manage capital.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The partnership will kick off with the launch of Maple\u2019s yield-bearing stablecoin syrupUSDT on Aave\u2019s Plasma instance. Shortly thereafter, syrupUSDC will launch on Aave\u2019s core market. The two firms stated that more of Maple\u2019s assets will follow. <\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maple and Aave to bridge DeFi and TradFi<\/h2>\n<p>syrupUSDC and syrupUSDT are tokenized yield-bearing products backed by institutional loans managed by Maple.
