Farcaster has rolled out Farcaster Pro, and is airdropping the new PRO token to early subscribers.<\/p>\n

Farcaster, a decentralized social media protocol backed by Paradigm and founded by former Coinbase execs, launched<\/a> a Pro version of its flagship app Warpcast, which had recently been rebranded<\/a> back to Farcaster.<\/p>\n

Farcaster Pro, priced at $120 per year, was quietly rolled out to users yesterday, May 28. Those who subscribed early reported receiving a new token PRO airdropped to their wallets. \u201cYesterday I paid $120 for Warpcast Pro. Today I got a $600 airdrop,\u201d one early subscriber posted<\/a> on X. A verification tool was also released, allowing users to check if they were among the first 10,000 Pro users, potentially qualifying for additional drops.<\/p>\n

Within the first hour of launch, Farcaster Pro reportedly garnered<\/a> 3,700 subscribers. That\u2019s \u201c100 paid subscriptions per user,\u201d Farvaster noted<\/a>. Farcaster isn\u2019t just a standalone social media app but a decentralized protocol supporting multiple mini apps<\/a>.<\/p>\n
