On Wednesday, October 15, blockchain analytics platform Nansen and infrastructure firm Sanctum partnered to release nxSOL, a liquid staking token for Solana. This token will enable SOL holders to earn staking rewards while retaining liquidity in their assets.

The move marks a major expansion of Nansen’s staking operation that currently spans 20 chains with over 350,000 stakers. Nansen controls more than $2 billion in staked assets and will now expand into Solana, which has one of the most active liquid staking communities.

“nxSOL marks the next chapter in Nansen’s staking journey, expanding our reach into Solana while staying true to our mission of making onchain participation simple, liquid, and secure.
