The system will include features like whitelist management and transaction control to ensure reliability for banks and financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, as part of the partnership, Korean banks will receive on-chain training, money market fund tokenization will be promoted, and Solana\u2019s presence in the nation\u2019s blockchain ecosystem will be expanded.<\/p>\n<p>Wavebridge is an expert in providing institutions with digital asset infrastructure, which includes custody and prime brokerage services. The partnership aims to connect Korea\u2019s regulatory framework, which is progressively moving toward stablecoin oversight, with Solana\u2019s global blockchain capabilities.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Momentum in KRW stablecoin sector\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>With initiatives like Sui\u2019s retail-focused collaboration with t\u2019order, KRW1 on Avalanche, and KRWT by Frax entering pilot or live phases, South Korea\u2019s drive for KRW-based stablecoins has accelerated in 2025. These initiatives aim to reduce reliance on USD-pegged assets and address the so-called \u201ckimchi premium\u201d that often skews local crypto prices.<\/p>\n<p>Keeping up with Solana\u2019s wider stablecoin momentum, the Solana\u2013Wavebridge initiative joins this wave, focusing on institutional-grade use cases. According to Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan, Solana is emerging as \u201cWall Street\u2019s preferred network for stablecoins\u201d thanks to its low fees and high throughput.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Recent integrations by Worldpay and Bullish Exchange further emphasize Solana\u2019s growing role in on-chain settlements.
